I must take issue with the listing of the Townlands on the website. Where is the mention of the jewel in the crown of the sharkin parish, THE PLAINS. Are we plains men and women being victimised because of our temperate climate, our rich soils, our Agean crops and our rich love of culture & arts. Enough i say!! Restore the Plains to its rightful place.
