Well done to the P6/P7 team on winning the Shield in the Dunloy tournament today. It was very impressive how they came back from about 6 points down in the second half to overtake their gallant opponents, Glenravel, mainly by chipping away with points to finally take the lead in the last minute. Their determination had to be seen to be believed. Their discipline and they way they were so magnanimous in victory was a credit to their mentors as it must have been particularly tough on the young Glenravel players to lose the final after twice previously beating Rasharkin. Well done on the victory but especially well done in how everyone conducted themselves.

Tickets for reeling round Rasharkin went on sale on Saturday night and as expected demand was massive and sold out. After negotiation with the Duck we were able to increase numbers and we now have approx 20 tickets remaining for this hugely popular event anyone still looking for a ticket would be advised to act fast or unfortunately could miss out. Please note this is a strictly TICKET ONLY EVENT we can not go above the allocated numbers due to health and safety regulations. For a glance of the stars see the Videos up on the site which we believe are higly entertaining and set the tone for what will be a great nights entertainment.

Glad to see common sense has prevailed. The Peoples Front of the Plains(P.F.P.), and the Plains Peoples Front (P.P.F.) had organised a sit down protest in the front bar of Mullaghans on Saturday night coming which will take place anyway just for, for...... well just!!

Well done to all our competitors who took part in the Scor Na Og last night in Glenravel. They all did themselves and the club proud. It's good to see so many willing to represent the club and showcase there talents. Also a word of thanks to the number of people from the Club who supported the event which is a great showcase of Irish Culture. Go raibh maith agat
