GAA 125 - National Schools Day
24th April 2009
Friday 24th April was National GAA 125 Schools Day. All primary school children
around the country were encouraged to wear a GAA jersey - club, school or
county.
St. Patrick's Primary School Rasharkin and members of St. Mary's
G.A.C. Rasharkin celebrated with a great turn out of colour representing
counties, clubs and schools.

Under 12 Football Blitz Finals in Meadowbank Centre Magherafelt
23rd March 2009
On Sunday 29th March 2009, our U12 footballers travelled to
Magherafelt to take part in the final day of the indoor Go-games blitz jointly
organised by Magherafelt District Council and the Derry County Board. We were
delighted to be invited to take part in this extremely well run initiative. We

GAA 125 - Club Quiz
27th February 2009
To celebrate 125 years of the GAA the club are holding several
events through out this year, the first event was a GAA Quiz held last Friday
27th February at Mc Laughlin's Corner.
Fifteen teams competed in a very entertaining and well
organised quiz. Joe Crawford and Danny Mc Larnon our local experts were quiz
masters for the evening.

Annual Dinner Dance - 2009

St. Mary's Rasharkin held their Annual Dinner Dance at the Elk
Toome on Friday 16th January 2009. Christmas is over, New Year's Eve is a
distant memory and it's the third Friday in January - that can only mean one
thing - Rasharkin's Dinner Dance!
