Saffron Og and Cul Camp - 2011
2nd August 2011
Cul Camp and Saffron Og another success at St.Mary's Rasharkin

The annual Ulster Council FUNdamentals Day "Cul Camp" and "Saffron Og" has been another success at St.Mary's Dreen. These week long tournaments started Monday 24th and concluded Friday 29th July were big hit this year as the large turn outs each day would prove. There was upwards on fifty juveniles at the Cul Camp and more than twenty attending the Saffron Og Camp. The weather for the week was perfect with everyone enjoying the fun and games in the sun.

The club would like to thank our Cul Camp officer Cormac Hasson for his excellent work controlling the events. A work of thanks go to our three Cul Camp coaches James O'Mullan, Conor and Shane Hasson for their time and effort along with the nine Cul Camp Helpers Daniel McKay, James Scally, Cristen O'Kane, Eoghan Kennedy, Peter Hasson, Cathal O'Hagan, William Donaghy, Bronagh and Sinead Hardy.

The two Ulster Council coaches Eoghan Gribben from Pearce Og Armagh and Roisin Keenan from Kickhams Creggan did a wonderful job all week with our young stars in the Saffron Og Camp. The two guest coaches Dominic McKinney and Ricky Johnson are also to be recognised for their contribution.

We like to thank all the children and their parents for making the event a massive success. Well done to one and all.
